Town of Southampton
The Town of Southampton is one of the oldest English settlements in New York State, founded in 1640. It encompasses many of the Hamptons' most iconic communities, from the historic Southampton Village to the surfing beaches of Hampton Bays. The town balances its agricultural heritage and Shinnecock Nation history with its status as a premier resort destination.
