Biography
Angie M. Carpenter has served as Supervisor of the Town of Islip for multiple terms, earning a reputation as one of the most effective local government leaders on Long Island. Before becoming Supervisor, she served as a Town of Islip Council Member. Under her leadership, the Town of Islip has maintained strong fiscal health while investing in community programs, parks, and infrastructure. She has focused on environmental protection of the Great South Bay, economic development along the Route 110 corridor, and support for Long Island MacArthur Airport. The town serves approximately 340,000 residents across communities including Bay Shore, Brentwood, Central Islip, and Hauppauge.
